SLAYTON — Dylan Kluis threw a no-hitter for Murray County Central Thursday as the Rebels hitters racked up a dozen runs to beat the Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes 12-0.

Kluis faced 17 batters, walking two and striking out 10.
Senior Simon Spittle pitched three and one-third innings for the Coyotes, allowing four earned runs and three walks.
For the Rebels, eighth-grader Krew Schneider had three runs, one run batted in and two walks. Aidan Dierks had two runs, one hit, two RBIs and one walk. Connor DeGreeff had two runs and one walk. Christian Tentinger had one run, hit a double and a sacrifice fly. He had two RBIs and one walk. Carter Benda had one run, hit a double and had one run batted in. Jaden Deacon had a sacrifice fly. Three other Rebels had one run each.
For the Coyotes, Dillon Smith and Sam Goedtke each had one walk. The Coyotes had five errors.

ADRIAN — A fifth-inning rally wasn’t enough to allow the Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons to conquer the Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights Wednesday, after the Knights took an early lead in the first two innings and sealed the deal with a run in the sixth. The Knights won 5-2.
For the Knights, Brayden Appel scored two runs, and had two hits and one walk. Hayden Gravley scored one run. Aiden Wichmann scored one run, hit a double and had one run batted in. Tyler Wichmann scored one run and had one hit. Isaac Dagel had one hit and one walk.
For Adrian, Kyler Kunkel scored one run and two hits, including a double. Joe Rahe scored one run and had one hit. Keagan Polzine had two hits and Quentin Wolf had one hit and one run batted in.
Cody Wichmann started on the mound for R-T-R, pitching six innings for the Knights and allowing two earned runs in the fifth. He struck out 13 batters and allowed two walks. Gabriel Elton closed out the game with two strikeouts in the seventh.
Keagan Polzine pitched all seven innings for the Dragons, allowing two earned runs and four walks.

REDWOOD FALLS — Jackson County Central scored three runs in the first, one run in the third and one run in the gift in a 5-0 victory over Big South Conference opponent Redwood Valley.
Bryson Powers reached base on two singles and an error. He scored two runs for JCC.
Cam Scholten had two hits and a run. Brett Rossow scored a run off a single in the first inning.
Ben Spaeth scored in the fifth inning for JCC after reaching base on a two out single.
Rossow pitched six innings for the Huskies. He struck out four and escaped a first inning jam after allowing back-to-back singles.

ST. PETER — Worthington lost in five innings 10-0 in the opening game of a Big South Conference doubleheader to St. Peter.
Katy Welch, Hannah McNab and Lauren Nelson all nabbed hits for the Trojans.
St. Peter scored one run in the first, two runs in the second, three runs in the fourth and four runs in the fifth.
Abigail Linder pitched four innings for WHS. She gave up 14 hits and walked three.

ST. PETER — Hannah McNab had two hits for the Trojans in the nightcap game against St. Peter. Lauren Nelson scored the lone run for WHS in a 12-1 loss. Nelson reached base in the second inning with a single.
Katy Welch, Brooklyn Bretzman and Anna Gordon had a hit apiece for WHS.
Bailey Ponto pitched six innings for the Trojans. She had 15 hits against, one walk and three strikeouts.
St. Peter scored three runs in the sixth to win via the 10-run rule. The Trojans had five errors.

REDWOOD FALLS — Carly Olson had four hits and four RBIs for the Luverne Cardinals in a 15-4 conference victory over Redwood Valley.
Olson had a double and a triple. Tori Serie hit a home run and had two RBIs. Ella Reisdorfer had one hit, one walk, one run and four RBIs. Amira Cowell had two hits and two RBIs.
Elizabeth Smidt scored four runs. Allie Kracht scored three runs, Olson scored three runs and Serie scored three runs.
Gracie Nath pitched seven innings for LHS. SHe gave up nine hits, one walk and struck out 10.

Amira Cowell pitched three innings for LHS. SHe allowed nine hits and one earned run. Gracie Nath pitched four innings in relief. She allowed two hits and struck out five.

LAMBERTON — Murray County Central had five team doubles in a 11-8 Red Rock Conference victory over Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove.
Thea Schneider pitched all seven innings for the Rebels. She struck out five and walked four. She had 10 hits against and three earned runs.
Mary McNab had two hits, two walks and two RBIs for MCC. Morgan Winter and Elyse Paulzine had three RBIs.
Winter, Paulzine, McNab, Schneider and Abigale Loosbrock all hit doubles for the Rebels
Natalie Wahl had three hits for the Falcons. Reilly Hubin and Isabella Rentschler had two hits apiece.
Sondra Rindfleisch and Hubin hit doubles. Addison Jenniges pitched the complete game for the Falcons. She struck out seven and walked eight.
Jenniges had two RBIs and a single at the plate.

Red Rock Conference Meet
MOUNTAIN LAKE — Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda/Westbrook-Walnut Grove increased its lead in the second of four Red Rock Conference meets. The Coyotes score is 320 and the team is currently 12 strokes clear of second place Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey which has a team score of 332.
Nathan Kueny from the Coyotes and Logan Brake from Adrian/Ellsworth have the lowest score with 73 apiece.
Sawyer Drent is in third for the Coyotes with a score of 75. Brady Ross' score is 79. Ian Bumgardner placed fourth on the Coyotes team with a score of 93.

Red Rock Conference Meet
ADRIAN — Adrian/Ellsworth sits atop of the Red Rock Conference by 22 strokes after two of four conference meets.
The Dragons have a team score of 401. Murray County Central is in second with 423 and Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda/Westbrook-Walnut Grove is in third with 459.
Madeline Wagner was the meet’s medalist for the Dragons with a score of 93. Taya Elias was second with 94 strokes and Ava Brown was third for the Dragons with a score of 95.
The top scorers for MCC were Rachael Huso with 96 and Elie Meyer with 97.
The top scorers for the Coyotes were Kelli Renneke with 99 and Marenna Bang with 102.
