SLAYTON -- In a Red Rock Conference boys basketball matchup, Westbrook-Walnut Grove led Murray County Central by seven at the half and won by eight at the end.
Cole Curry had 13 points, Hudson Jenniges 12 and Dan Kleven 10 for W-WG. Bryce Hoekman scored 25 points for the Rebels, and teammate Aidan Dierks contributed six assists.

LAMBERTON -- Hope Stack poured in 24 points to help Yellow Medicine East defeat Red Rock Central.
Sondra Rindfleisch had 15 points and seven rebounds for RRC. Emily DeCock had seven rebounds and seven steals to help the Falcons’ cause.

LUVERNE -- The Luverne Cardinals advanced to 13-5 on the season while dropping New Ulm to 11-8-1 as Tenley Behr scored three of the Cards’ goals.
Behr tallied the first, second and fourth LHS goal. Kamryn Van Batavia scored the third.
Brooke Arneson scored for New Ulm.
Luverne out-shot the Eagles 31-21.
