WINDOM — Worthington's high school girls basketball team lost 86-63 to Windom Area Saturday in the Big South Conference Showcase, ending the Trojans' regular season.
Worthington will next enter section tournament play. The team owns a 4-21 record.
Newyouman Gora scored 15 points and came up with four steals for WHS on Saturday. Madison Beckmann scored 10 points. Aisha Zeidi had 10 points and six rebounds, Grace Barber had nine points and four rebounds, and Tarren Spartz had seven points, five rebounds and four assists. Janessa Hamman chipped in with six points.
