WORTHINGTON -- The strength of the Worthington High School girls tennis team was expected to be in their singles this fall, and on Tuesday the Trojans won three of four singles matches to defeat the Marshall Tigers at the middle school tennis courts.
Marah Darling (No. 1), Kessey Aljets (No. 3) and Bailey Newman (No. 4) all prevailed against the Tigers. The Trojans also won at No. 3 doubles with Taylor Nordseth and Hannah McNab.
