NEW PRAGUE - The Worthington Trojans are heading back to the Minnesota Class A Boys Soccer Tournament for a second consecutive year.
The second-seeded Trojans overcame a 1-0 deficit at intermission by scoring twice in the second half Thursday night, earning a 2-1 victory over No. 4 Mankato East to capture the Section 2A title. WHS will place its first-round match on Tuesday against an opponent - and at a site - to be determined,
Victor Alvarez got the Trojans on the board and knotted the match at 1-1 in the second half Thursday, and Jon Keodouangsy tallied the second WHS goal shortly thereafter.
