Trojans compete at Brandon Valley Invitational

BRANDON, S.D. -- Worthington's Sarah Cham turned in the lone first-place finish for the Worthington Track team Saturday at the Brandon Valley Invitational.

BRANDON, S.D. -- Worthington's Sarah Cham turned in the lone first-place finish for the Worthington Track team Saturday at the Brandon Valley Invitational.

Cham placed first in the triple jump with a jump of 36' 2.75" to take home the crown.

On the boys' side, Travis Pederson had the highest finish, with a second place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 50.51 seconds.

Kaitlin Gerber placed third in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:37.4.

Adou Omot took home third place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:06.4, and was part of the 4x400 meter relay team that also placed third.

ADVERTISEMENT

Tom Mammen, John Mead, Pederson and Omot teamed up to finish third in a time of 3:35.8.

The same four also took home third in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:33.9.

The Trojans will travel to Windom April 14.
