MARSHALL -- Three players combined for six hits and six runs and Blake Rogers kept Marshall at bay as the Worthington VFW baseball team earned a 9-3 victory Thursday night.
Rogers picked up the victory, allowing one earned run on three hits while walking six and striking out nine in seven innings.
AJ Hayenga was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI, while Nate Jensen was 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs. Deron Soderholm had two hits, scored twice and drove in a run for Worthington.
Post 3958 (14-7), which scored four runs in each the second and the fifth innings, improves to 6-1 in conference.
It will travel to Fulda on Saturday morning.
