Thursday night high school volleyball:

Worthington 3, SWC 0

EDGERTON -- In volleyball action in Edgerton Thursday night, the Worthington Trojans won 3-0 against Southwest Minnesota Christian on scores of 25-20, 25-15 and 25-22.

Jessica Hogan, Worthington head coach said, “A great team win against a very scrappy Southwest Christian squad. But we really brought the energy and intensity tonight and earned the win.”

Worthington’s Tarren Spartz completed 14 out of 18 serves with 12 points, 7 aces and 10 kills. Karissa Maxwell served 8 of 12, had 7 points and 3 aces. Brooklyn Scheitel-Taylor went 11 of 12 for serves 7 points, 2 aces with 4 digs.

Addison Gerber was 12 of 14 serving with 5 points and 2 aces, and also had 23 set assists. Ellie Weg had 10 kills, 5 digs, and 6 blocks. Madison Beckmann had 5 kills and 4 blocks for the night.

Worthington improves to 15-13. The Trojans’ next game will be against New Ulm on Oct. 21.

LeMars Gehlen 3, H-LP 0

LAKE PARK, Iowa -- LeMars Gehlen Catholic won against the Harris-Lake Park Wolves 3-0 on scores 25-13, 25-9 and 25-9.

H-LP’s Zella Ingham had 8 kills and 15 digs. Ava Rasche racked up 12 digs, and teammate Tessa Gunderson had 10 digs. Rylie Wittrock served up 4 set assists.

Harris-Lake Park’s record goes to 0-26 for the season.

Pipestone 3, W-WG 0

PIPESTONE -- Westbrook-Walnut Grove’s Addison Jenniges served 13 for 13 with 1 ace and 4 kills, and she also had 11 assists in a loss against Pipestone Area 3-0. The scores were 25-18, 25-11 and 25-17.

Abby Wiggins went for 7 kills and 2 blocks. Isabel Klumper had 14 digs, and teammate Isabella Rentschler racked up 12 digs. Natalie Wahl had a block and 2 assists.

WWG’s record goes to 10-14 overall.

Edgerton 3, MCC 0

EDGERTON -- Host Edgerton Public bested Murray County Central 3-0 by scores of 25-11, 26-24 and 25-14.

Emily Rohrer had 15 kills for MCC and teammate Zoey Iverson had 12 digs.

HL-O/F 3, RRC 2

OKABENA -- Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda beat Red Rock Central in five games on scores of 25-17, 24-26, 19-25, 25-16 and 15-9.

Karli Arkell of RRC had 8 points, 2 aces, 6 blocks, 27 kills and 16 digs. Mercedes Myers had seven blocks. Josie Horning had 14 points on 25 attempts with 2 aces and 19 digs. Lilly Stavness had 20 digs and Emily Decock went for 17 digs and 13 set assists. Nora Hemmingsen had 15 assists.
