WORTHINGTON — After a few post-lunch soccer matches at the Intermediate School became too heated, players on the Worthington Community Football Club were invited to attend recess at the school and talk about good sportsmanship.

After the talk about treating others fairly, the members of the WCFC teams stuck around and kicked the ball around with a group of students.

Trees were used as goal posts. Sidewalks set the makeshift field boundaries. Smiles, high fives and good times were plentiful.
