WHS Trojans in action tonight

Fans of Worthington High School winter sports have one last chance tonight (Tues, Dec. 21) to see their teams in action before the Christmas holiday break begins.

WORTHINGTON -- Fans of Worthington High School winter sports have one last chance tonight (Tues, Dec. 21) to see their teams in action before the Christmas holiday break begins.

The girls basketball team hosts the Luverne Cardinals in an intriguing matchup scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The Cardinals are 6-0 and the Trojans are 5-1.

The Trojan girls hockey team is at home tonight in a 7 p.m. game against Albert Lea, and the Trojan boys hockey team has a 7 p.m. game at Redwood Valley.

Also tonight, the WHS wrestling team at 5 p.m. competes with Jackson County Central in the Marshall Triangular. The gymnastics team goes to New Ulm to compete with the Eagles and St. James Area starting at 6 p.m.
