ADRIAN - The Adrian Dragons flexed their wrestling muscles Tuesday with victories over Luverne 54-12 and Fairmont 59-9.

In the Luverne match, Adrian took advantage of four forfeits to roll to victory. On the mat, AHS got wins from Skylar Hieronimus at 113 pounds, Ryan Elias at 132, Michael Preuss at 138, Tony Lynn at 145, Logan Rogers at 152 and Jesse Slater at 170. Hieronimus pinned Luverne’s Jayden Renken in 1:19. Preuss pinned Jeremiah Dooyema in 5:37, Rogers pinned Johnathan Smid in :37 and Slater pinned Dalton Jacobsma in 3:30.
Riley Baker at 106, Will Natte at 120, Cody Hess at 126 and Spencer Oeltjenbruns at 182 won for Luverne.
Against Fairmont, the Dragons led 38-0 before their opponents could put any team points on the board. Alex Fuerstenberg, Greg Kern, Logan Nelson, Elias, Preuss, Lynn, Matthew and Jesse Slater, Ben Taracena and Tony Sieve won for Adrian. Nelson, Elias, Preuss, Lynn, Jesse Slater, Taracena and Sieve won by fall.
