The community gathered in support of Ty Olson's family Wednesday in Round Lake, bringing gifts and carols from the Worthington Best Christmas Ever initiative. Ty, 16, died of cancer on Dec. 14.
The Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce hopes to inspire people to shop locally by offering prize drawings of $500, $250 and $100, plus gift cards in smaller amounts.
