WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep. Dusty Johnson, R-S.D., was one of 13 Republicans to support a House of Representatives measure to block President Donald Trump’s emergency declaration to get additional funding for a border wall. Democrats pushed for the measure, and the legislation passed 245-182 on Tuesday. Johnson said in a statement that he was primarily voting against the emergency nature of Trump’s request, and to fight back against expanding executive authority.
