Jacki Rae Hanson and Nicholas Kenneth Waldner, both of Sioux Falls, S.D., announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Kenneth and Laurie Waldner, Worthington, and Gregg and Risa Hanson, Elk Point, S.D.
Hanson is a 2011 graduate of the University of Sioux Falls with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and psychology.
Waldner is a 2009 graduate of Mitchell Technical Institute, Mitchell, S.D., with an associates degree in SCADA engineering technology.
They plan a Sept. 22 wedding at Hillside Community Church, Vermillion, S.D.
