Highs in the teens today; snow and ice likely by Saturday

After a chilly start to Wednesday morning, temperatures had increased to the mid- to upper teens by afternoon. Highs will be between 20 and 25 on Thursday and approach 30 on Friday, but mixed precipitation appears in the works for the weekend.
